Jim's Experience!
I have owned property and have been involved in real estate for over 40 years. My experience includes various transaction types including, single family homes, multi family homes and apartment buildings in both RI and Massachusetts. Additional experiences includes 1031 Tax Free Exchanges and Condo Conversions. I have successfully completed both for myself as well as for clients.
As a realtor and investor, understanding an investor’s philosophy provides invaluable experience. What excites me the most about the real estate profession is the opportunity to create a ‘Win, Win’ situation for both a buyer and seller.
Married for over 40 years, I am a Grandfather of 3 wonderful boys. I have been involved with the community serving as the President of a Landlord Association. Locally, I was a youth sports coach and a member on a Recreation Board of Directors. I have also earned an Advocacy Award from a Group Home as well as being selected as the ‘Volunteer of the Year’ at a local YMCA.
Although I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Roger Williams University for Computer Studies, my passion is real estate. Cara's Experience!
I first earned my real estate license in 2010. Shortly thereafter I moved to Utah and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Deaf Studies and worked as a Professional American Sign Language Interpreter. One of my most rewarding experiences was taking part of a team who traveled to Ghana for 4 months where we taught Sign Language to a group of students at a School for the Deaf.
In early 2023, I sold my house in Utah and moved back to New England with my husband of 9 years and my two young boys. I now work as a Closing Coordinator and assist Jim in all aspects of representing clients. I love meeting new people and have strong communication skills which works well in the real estate profession. In addition to enjoying hiking, camping, rock climbing and traveling I have an equal love in spending time in my home with my family playing games, hosting dinner parties, decorating and making it my favorite place to be.
